The olive grove of approximately 0.3 hectares is located in Pino, the area of Anacapri historically with the greatest olive growing vocation. There are approximately 40 centuries-old Minucciola plants on this plot, a native variety of the island of Capri. The olive grove, entirely exposed to the West, is characterized by 3 large terraces which are a few hundred meters away from the sea at an altitude of approximately 100 meters above sea level.
The medium-textured soil is enriched annually with organic substance using appropriately chipped pruning residues and green manure is practiced every two years with cruciferous legumes and grasses. the herbs are chopped and left in the field to further enrich the soil. Copper-based products and mechanical means are used to control diseases and insects.
